Student Editorials on 6th Grade’s Service-Learning Project

  1. Mr. Summers’ 6th grade students have been engaged in a service-learning project that’s focused on studying invasive plants, removing them from ecosystems, and replacing them with native plants. The students were recently asked to write a newspaper editorial to persuade their audience that invasive plants are harmful. Panos D. and Josiah L. were chosen as the most persuasive writers.
