STEM Chairperson
SCS is seeking a secondary division STEM Chairperson. This individual will provide leadership and mentorship to all faculty members within the academic departments as a true pedagogy expert and veteran educator. It is a full time position, but the chair’s course load would be limited to one course with two class sections. The focus of this role would be to develop the educator skills and professional development of the department’s faculty. Qualifications include:  Master’s degree, leadership experience preferred, strong connection with a local Evangelical church, and a desire to mentor faculty. Early Childhood Program Teaching Assistant
SCS is seeking an Early Childhood Program Teaching Assistant to implement the daily program for 3 and 4 year old children under the direction of the director and teacher. Qualifications include: A CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) or early education college coursework, experience working with the early childhood level is a plus, strong connection with a local Evangelical church, and willingness to complete and maintain ACSI requirements. Early Childhood Program Aide
Smithtown Christian School is seeking part-time or full-time classroom aides for its Early Childhood Program. Responsibilities will include caring for pre-school aged children. We also offer extended hours for elementary students.
