On Saturday, October 24th, Smithtown Christian School will hold its first-ever Virtual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. We are looking forward to having the event on site next year, but for now, we are excited for first virtual one! Participants may start and finish at whatever time is convenient on the 24th. This is going to be a fun way to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather with family, get some exercise and support our school all at the same time!
All runners/walkers will receive an SCS string bag and 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run t-shirt. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners of both our 5K Race (6th grade to adults) and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners of our 1 Mile Fun Run (K-5th grade) will receive a placement medal. (While placement medals for our 1 Mile Fun Run will go to students in K through 5th grade, all ages are welcome to participate in the Fun Run!) We will celebrate our winners during morning announcements on Monday, October 26th, as well as on our social media pages. All other runners/walkers will receive a finisher's medal.
We are so excited to RUN and have some FUN!
