Extended Care for Smithtown Christian School Students Grades K-6
Pre-K Programs Available: 2025-26
- 4-year-olds - Students must be 4 years of age as of December 1st and fully toilet-trained
- 3-day morning program: Tues/Wed/Thurs : 8:30 am to 11:30 am
- 3-day full day program: Tues/Wed/Thurs 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
- 5-day full day program: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 2:30 pm

Academics
The mission of Smithtown Christian School is to teach with excellence in the classroom and through life-on-life influence to produce exceptional young Christian leaders with a heart for
God, a mind for Truth, and a passion to change the World. To carry out this religious mission, Smithtown Christian School, which is a ministry of Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle, partners with like-minded families who agree with Smithtown Christian School’s religious purpose and beliefs.
Parents who apply for Pre-K admissions will be contacted for an interview appointment. Along with the in-person interview, the parent's child will take a pre-K assessment so ensure they are ready to attend SCS Pre-K. Parents are welcome to contact our Admissions office for more details about the program. It is our privilege to serve you. Ultimately, the academic aim of the Pre-K program is to prepare students for Kindergarten at Smithtown Christian School.
Parents, whose children are accepted and enrolled, are provided with a handbook of information about the Pre-K program. A variety of topics are addressed in order to clearly convey school guidelines and procedures.

Monthly Plan: Please notify the Extended Care Aide - Adriana Crawford - if your child is going to be absent.
Change in Extended Care Schedule: Parents are responsible to notify teachers with any changes in student’s schedule
Daily Sign Up: To sign up for a single day, please call the school office and/or email the Extended Care Monitor with your need. Include date and time.

The expense for After Care will show up through our Facts Family Portal. Charges will be seen as incidental billing. You are responsible to pay the charges within 3 business days.
Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged to your account.
Your child will not be able to attend Extended Care or SCS classes if payments are delinquent by more than 45 days.
